Competency based IR SEP & PA46 SET-


Duration : half a day, 2 flights, min 1 hour flight time


Designed for private pilots holding a FAA IR and seeking for a conversion to an EASA IR to fly within Europe as from April 2017 on N registered aircrafts.

Objectives: 

  • Demonstration of skill for IR rating
  • Content:
  • Oral examination shall cover following topics:
  • Air Law
  • Flight Planning and Flight Monitoring
  • Meteorology

Training shall be delivered to the candidate at least 2 days before the test
1 flight with 2 different approaches ( ILS and NPA)
The first part of the flight is mainly normal operation
The second part of the flight includes in addition to the normal operation, airwork exercises, abnormal and emergency items.
